Thank you to Norman Ford Sr. who generously donated the fire helmet he created and wore as a member of the White River Township Volunteer Fire Department in 1958. Norman presented the helmet to Fire Chief Jeremy Pell in front of a packed room of family, friends and WRTFD crews. Norman served the department from 1958-1960. This amazing piece of history will soon be on display at WRTFD Headquarters.

 

We would also like to thank his brother-in-law, Robert Raber who was also a member of the department for 15 years during the 1950's and 1960's.  Without good men like this, we would not be able to serve you the way we do today.
